Lessons learned long ago, taught
us that success in
the real estate industry demands
nothing less
than perfection.

Stephen Hayman founded Hayman Company in 1963 after graduating from law school.  Alan Hayman joined his brother shortly thereafter and together they identified a niche to provide property management services to institutional clients and pension funds and managed the Michigan real estate portfolio for one of the first REITs.

They pioneered the use of computers in real estate management, utilizing the first mini-computers, and helped develop the first software programs specific to property management.

Under their leadership, the company purchased billions in real estate, including apartments, office, hotels, retail and industrial properties throughout the United States.  Alan Hayman was a contributing author of “The Handbook of Commercial Real Estate Finance”, published by the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and has been published in many other major real estate publications.
