Nancy is an accomplished Human Resources Manager with over 20 years of human resources experience, including 17 years in the multi-family housing industry.  Her extensive background covers a broad spectrum of HR functions, with an emphasis on managing daily HR operations and delivering HR services.

Nancy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Eastern Michigan University.  She holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications, underscoring her dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth.

Mary’s career at Hayman spans almost 30 years and has evolved and progressed in myriad positions.  Her impressive history and knowledge of Hayman operations and finances makes her invaluable in her role as Corporate Accounting/Treasury Manager.  Mary’s expertise covers a wide breadth of duties including CAM reconciliations, replacement reserves, loan summaries, monthly accounting for the entire Hayman portfolio, real estate tax tracking, and payroll backup.  Mary obtained dual Bachelor degrees in Marking and Accounting from Michigan State University and Oakland University, respectively.

Kathy Kujawa is an accomplished and visionary leader in the fields of accounting, finance, information technology, and administration, with a passion for perfecting organizational efficiency and driving strategic growth. Kathy has a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, with instrumental career roles within the real estate industry, including commercial, multifamily, senior housing, and new housing.

As Chief Administrative Officer at Hayman Company, Kathy brings her wealth of experience in managing complex operations, developing effective policies, and implementing streamlined processes to enhance productivity and foster a culture of innovation.  Throughout her career, Kathy has successfully spearheaded numerous projects aimed at transforming administrative functions and delivering measurable results. She has a proven record of implementing technology-driven solutions that streamline workflows, automate processes, and improve collaboration across departments. Her ability to drive change and navigate complex organizational challenges contributes to the overall success and growth of Hayman Company.

Equipped with both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting along with a Master of Science in Finance, Kathy brings a deep understanding of the evolving trends and best practices in the fields of accounting, finance, information technology, and administration.  As Chief Administrative Officer, Kathy is dedicated to leading the Hayman Company to new heights of operational excellence, fostering innovation, and contributing to its long-term success through effective administration and strategic decision-making.

With 9 years at Hayman Company, Alicia brings a background in residential real estate, as well as administrative expertise in both non-profit and for-profit companies.

Alicia’s role at Hayman spans administrative duties for the President and Executive Team and encompasses corporate efficiencies, while interfacing across departments for myriad responsibilities ranging from contract execution to marketing initiatives and on-site team support.

Alicia holds a bachelor degree from Oakland University and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Michigan.

Maureen Henderson joined Hayman Company as Investor Relations Assistant in 2009.  Maureen is responsible for monitoring, processing and recording investor capital movements including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers.  She maintains and manages investors’ data in a web-based Investor Management Services platform.  Maureen is dedicated to providing quality service to Hayman’s equity investors and values the relationships she has developed with the investors over the years.

At Hayman, Kristen is dedicated to providing extraordinary service and expertise to its clients and investors while working with the operations team to create value and generate innovative solutions.  Kristen’s experience spans more than two decades leading diverse, nationwide portfolios that includes student, senior, military, affordable, urban/high-rise, mixed-use, and conventional garden-style communities. Kristen is a driven team player with extensive third-party management and analytical capabilities with a proven track record in new construction and renovation asset strategy.  Committed to the development of multifamily professionals nationwide, Kristen has served on IREM’s National Education Committee and serves as a Board of Director for the Detroit Metropolitan Apartment Association and Washtenaw Area Apartment Association.   Kristen studied Business Administration at TCC and OCC and holds her CAM and other industry designations including accreditation as an instructor for the National Apartment Association.

Elizabeth joined Hayman Company as the Finance Manager in August 2017 and has nearly 20 years of professional experience in all aspects of commercial real estate including third-party market research, appraisals, and performing valuations on a variety of property types including retail, office, industrial, STNL and multi-family housing for the sale and disposition of investment sale transactions.  She brings to the Hayman team a solid background in commercial real estate coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  At Hayman Company, her responsibilities include providing assistance throughout the acquisition and disposition process, managing banking and investor relationships, as well as a wide range of activities related to commercial and multi-family asset management.  Elizabeth is a Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate within the state of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison College at Michigan State University.

With over 23 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Scott joined Hayman Company as Senior Property Manager. His versatility in the industry is evidenced through his extensive experience in the management of large, commercial office buildings, retail shopping centers, as well as historical renovations. At Hayman, Scott oversees the day-to-day operations, budgets, and capital projects for a diversified portfolio across multiple states. Scott also possesses expertise in foreclosure and receivership properties. Scott’s knowledge of building systems, building construction, and property accounting enhances his ability to ensure cost-effective pricing and quality work for property owners and through these practices is able to meet and exceed owner objectives.

Scott is a graduate from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and also studied Business at Oakland University. Scott holds a real estate license and is a member of BOMA.

Alan, together with his brother, Stephen, founded Hayman Company in the 1960s to provide high-quality real estate management services for institutional clients.  Alan has authored many articles in several of the most respected journals in the industry.

With over 10 years of experience in acquisitions, Jeff is responsible for acquisitions at Hayman Company.  Jeff has closed acquisitions totaling 5,105 multifamily units, 11 office/industrial properties, and a mixed-use property in 10 different states with an aggregate purchase price of $430 million,  Jeff has led the sourcing of debt for acquisitions and refinancing exceeding $500 million.  He is also responsible for sourcing equity and debt for acquisitions, and for sourcing third-party management assignments.

With over 25 years of experience in acquisitions, asset management, and public accounting, John is responsible for acquisitions for Hayman Company.  John has closed acquisitions exceeding 7,500 apartment homes, with an aggregate purchase price approximating $750 million.  He is also responsible for sourcing equity and debt for acquisitions, and for sourcing third-party management assignments.  John has also acted as court-appointed receiver for complicated and highly-contested distressed assets.  In addition, John has asset-managed more than 25,000 apartment homes and five million square feet of commercial space.

For over a decade, Lawrence has been deeply involved in every facet of commercial real estate which has provided him with extensive leasing and investment sale knowledge.  Throughout the years he has used his experience to aid and consult his clients in making sound business decisions that minimize risk and maximize return.  He has successfully represented both private and institutional real estate holders such as Torchlight Investors, Berkadia, GE Capital, Five Mile Capital, Henry Ford Health System and Talmer Bank.  He has also successfully completed notable transactions with multinational corporations such as BELFOR, Grammer Industries, Raytheon, H&R Block, Mahindra Engineering Services, Ally Financial, LG Electronics, LG Chem Power and Formel D.
